Measuring (not modeling) our impact

Vycarb’s tech allows us to monitor carbon removal projects autonomously and remotely, powered by our novel carbon sensing apparatus. This unique advantage opens up the possibility of deploying our systems at distributed, strategic locations.

This means that our carbon measurement and management systems can be used as enabling technology for carbon removal – empowering partners to mitigate their own GHG emissions, or work with Vycarb in a “revenue sharing” model.

Building tech to enable carbon “insets”

Historically, water-based carbon has been very difficult to quantify. For this reason, other companies who remove CO in water have chosen to rely on modeling to understand the impact of their projects.

At Vycarb, we measure the entirety of the carbon cycle directly, autonomously, and in real-time. Not only does this mean a lower cost, more distributed approach to CO removal, it also means carbon projects which partners and buyers can trust.

Generating passive revenue for partners.

With this business model, our partners can use Vycarb’s technology to mitigate their own CO₂ emissions, or leverage it to generate revenue – and profit – via “revenue sharing”.

As Vycarb continues to scale up our system removal capacity, partners have the potential to generate millions of dollars in profit annually by working with Vycarb’s systems, whilst simultaneously fighting climate change and acidification.

Our first product removes carbon dioxide from water, storing it as stable dissolved carbon in water, and measuring exactly how much carbon was removed in a low-cost, modular, hardware-software integration.

We’re currently producing our first systems for commercial deployment, whilst actively searching for partners interested in working together from 2025 onwards to generate passive revenue, or mitigate their own emissions.

Mines & quarries

Mines, quarries, and heavy industry have access to the valuable materials (dunites, silicates, oxides, and carbonates) which power the carbon removal reaction. Partnering together enables us to merge skillsets for low-cost, highly-efficient CDR.

Ports & marinas

Access to water is vital for our system to be deployed. Ports, marinas, and docks also operate sophisticated distribution chains, able to be leveraged to transport the materials critical to our process, and operate a Vycarb system effectively.

Municipalities & the public sector

Municipalities are Vycarb’s first customers, and champions of our work in CDR. Because Vycarb can measure, quantify, and verify that our process was effective, we can give towns and cities full confidence in the effectiveness of our process.
