The Head of Development will generate leads and drive commercial discussions forward for both near-term pilot projects and long-term commercial facilities. This is a strategic sales role, requiring the candidate to execute on a company-wide strategy for turning our technology into revenue-generating deployments alongside partners in the materials and energy sectors. • Secure both near-term commercial pilot agreements for Vycarb and medium-term FOAK deployment agreements

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of emissions profiles and plant operations across sectors in the energy and materials industries. Assess and communicate the associated viability of Vycarb’s technology across industries, using this to inform the company’s approach for pilot/FOAK sales and long-term market positioning.

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of carbon markets and associated incentive mechanisms for the adoption of Vycarb technology to inform our sales and project development strategy.

    • An outstanding salesperson who has led and executed on the sale of big, novel hardware from start to finish. New technology and markets excite you, and you have demonstrated, repeat evidence of selling this kind of technology to external stakeholders.

    • You are confident across all elements of commercial development. You have drafted term sheets and owned negotiations and are comfortable repeating and owning that process.

    • You have experience in big (>1000) and small (<50) companies and are therefore highly effective at communicating between the two.
